(WDAY TV) -- Bismarck has been the center of the best basketball teams in the state over the weekend. And tonight, it all finished with 2 champions being crowned. The West Fargo girls facing Century,and the Shanley boys up against Bismarck High.
The Deacons hoping to flip the outcome of last year, when they were runner-ups to Red River.
But, this was the Deacons night, and Jacobson's night too, he scores 27 and becomes the new Class A all-time leader in points.
He finishes with 2,002 total and is named North Dakota's Mr. Basketball.
And Shanley defeats Bismarck 73-54, for it's first state title since 1998, 3rd overall.
