Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Just in time for Easter, about one-thousand rabbits packed into the Hartl Ag Center at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.
They were there for the second annual Central North Dakota Rabbit Breeders show. Rabbits ranged from four pound breeds to 27-pound breeds. Competitors bring their rabbits up to the judges table, and the criteria is similar to a dog show.
Breanna Quarne, Co-superintendent, says, "The judges will see the body type, the color, the fur types, and that kind of thing. There is also showmanship for the youth. The kid, not the animal. Just to show the knowledge."
The show drew breeders from North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and South Dakota.
