Rollover shuts down traffic temporarily on Main

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Traffic briefly shut down on Main Avenue this afternoon when a car flipped upside down.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Traffic briefly shut down on Main Avenue this afternoon when a car flipped upside down.

The driver was going East when he suddenly swerved up onto a curb and hit a tree in front of the Red Raven. The car flipped over and landed upside down.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt and taken to Sanford hospital. Authorities weren't sure why the driver went off the road.

Gary Lorenz with the Fargo Fire Dept. says, "They're slippery, but it's not icy, or excessively icy. I mean, they're slippery but I wouldn't call them treacherous."
