Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- This time of year, bakeries are busy turning out St. Patrick's day goodies. But at Fargo's Oldest bakery, the color is not green. It's pink.

Honoring an award winning cake decorator there, who just finished breast cancer treatment.

Barb Cossette is used to winning. Her decorated cakes have won top honors at Midwest competitions.

Strawberry frosting.

But her biggest victory is the win over breast cancer. She just finished her treatments. Surgery, radiation, and now chemotherapy.

Barb Cossette/Honored with "Pink Day": "Relief, it is almost like I don't know what to do anymore. My last year has revolved around treatments and cancer and doctors."

To celebrate, her work family at Quality Bakery has decided that in addition to St Patty's day green treats, the bakery will produce everything pink. From cakes and pies. Pops to strawberries.

Pete Fendt, Quality Bakery Owner: "Anything I can throw pink into, it is going to be pink for our pink celebration."

Barb says the support from the bakery has been overwhelming. Pete Fendt going the extra mile to insure her comfort during treatments.

Marcine and Pete even went next door and bought a recliner for me and said anytime you need a nap there is a recliner for me.

Tomorrow, sales from the pink bread, donuts, buns and deserts, will all go to Roger Maris. Fendt's family has been on this journey, and knows the support is crucial.

Pete: "I saw what my wife went through and so it made us a lot more aware when barb was going through the same thing."

What is not to love about this. And good for Barb. Cancer treatment done, cakes and treats galore.

Barb: "By the time I am done, I won't have to wear pink, I am going to have pink all over the place."

And a new look at life. The sale of the pink treats in honor of Barb at Quality Bakery, will go on all day Friday.
