After more than three years, Colonel Rick Gibney stepped down from the post and will deploy to Southwest Asia.
Colonel Kent Olson assumed command at a ceremony today. Olson reflected on when he first enlisted in the North Dakota Air National Guard, at age 17.
Col. Kent Olson says, "I had on a flannel shirt and jeans and I was sporting a hairstyle that was the next-best-thing to a mullet. A little different now. Anyway, in no thought in my mind would I be standing in front of you now to be the next 119th Wing Commander."
