Unemployment benefits change under North Dakota Job Service Bill

(WDAY TV) -- Any workers locked out of a job would not receive unemployment benefits under an amendment to a North Dakota Job Service bill.

(WDAY TV) -- Any workers locked out of a job would not receive unemployment benefits under an amendment to a North Dakota Job Service bill.

The change was offered by a 5-2 vote. It would add language denying benefits because of a labor dispute, strike, or lockout.

If approved, it would not affect American Crystal Sugar workers.
