(WDAY TV) -- Slick roads contributed to an accident on I-94, and temporary closure of the west bound lane this morning.

The state patrol says a semi jackknifed near the Downer exit around 6:30. Two Westbound vehicles, their drivers trying to avoid the semi, lost control and collided. No one was injured.

The interstate finally re-opened abut 8:15. The state patrol says icy roads and driver error were factors.

Sgt. Jesse Grabow with the MN State Patrol says, "this is day number four of five of dealing with blow ice and what its forming out here is just a very thick sheets of ice making travel difficult so if people could slow down and pay attention we wouldn't have things like this happening."

Grabow says conditions aren't as bad as Tuesday, but roadways are still "very slick" in spots.
