Voters defeat Pelican Rapids school referendum

Pelican Rapids, MN (WDAY TV) - Voters in the Pelican Rapids defeated an $18.5 million referendum. At last count, with three precincts left to count, it looks like the vote is failing, the No's with 1262 and Yes's with 845.
School officials say the money would pay for serious upgrades and renovations at the school. The high School was built in 1928.
