Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Young scientists are getting a chance to show off their hard work. The annual Southeast Regional Science Fair was held at NDSU.

The Benson Bunker Fieldhouse was host to about 200 junior and senior high students from five different schools. Many of the students have been working on their projects for over a year, all competing for the top prize: an $18,000 scholarship to Jamestown College.

Dre Steinwehr – Hankinson Senior: “We were presenting our products to many different judges and we're going around. They'll come around to you to get judged and you put on your research to see how well you do to place you in the end.”

The winner of the science fair was that young man, Dre Steinwerh. He wins an $18,000 scholarship to Jamestown College.
