Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- It's going to take some help from mother nature, but Fargo street crews will be headed out this week to work on draining that daily melt.

This is a common sight this time of year, as huge puddles begin to form at corners and then of course it freezes over night.

Workers will start steaming drains to keep water from building up, they're also working on clear snow from above drains.

Lee Anderson, with Fargo Public Works, says, "it's amazing what the sun does with the cool temperatures here, but we need a little more help -- mid 30s or 40s to really get things moving."
