Community Development Administrator Dan Mahli says the site is meant to bring the community together. It's filled with everything you need to know like where to vote, the closest bike paths, and what schools are in your district.

Dan: We have 38 different neighborhoods kind of identified, and each of them is larger then most of the communities in North Dakota and so it's just a way for people to understand their surroundings.

The site can be helpful for pretty much anyone. Say you're looking to move. You can look around each neighborhood to make sure it's the right fit before you buy.

Dan: Say you know you are interested in the Clara Barton neighborhood that you really enjoy you could go in and find out where the trails are, where the parks are, the contacts of the school, you can find the principal, you can even talk to the police lieutenant, give a call to see what kind of crime occurs in the neighborhood.

Deb Frederickson lives and is very involved in the historic Hawthorne neighborhood.

Deb: As a Person who lives in a historic neighborhood I'm especially interested in comparing notes with the other historic neighborhoods.

She says the site is very easy to navigate and keeps her up to date.

Deb: I think it's good to just kind of see where we are all at and kind of compare. There's always going to be changes in things that occur and to see what their data is, what there statistics are.
