"Startup Weekend" team members make their first sales pitch in Fargo

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Eight teams of entrepreneurs had a chance to get a new business started tonight.

This is the first "Start - up Weekend" in Fargo. Teams start collaborating ideas on Friday for the next big hit, and make a sales pitch today.

The winner ended up being a phone app, where customers rate their servers at restaurants.

Sukhneet Singh says, "Managers love this, because they get to see a profile of their servers and how their servers are doing. Each one of these comments goes back to the server profile."

Other ideas this weekend were a phone app for couples to balance house hold chores, also creating a network to trade old T-shirts.
