Shiloh Christian edges Cavalier at state B

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Donovan Lambert scored 10 of his 23 points in the third quarter as Shiloh Christian beat Cavalier 69-61 Saturday in the seventh-place game at the North Dakota boys Class B basketball tournament.

The Skyhawks (18-9) outscored the Cavalier 28-14 in the third quarter. Aaron Yellow Wolf had eight of his 10 points in the third quarter.

Shiloh shot just 39 percent from the field and 26 percent from three-point range, but the Skyhawks hit 18 of 19 free throw attempts.

Walter Bearstail was good on just four of 14 three-point shots and had 14 points, while Blake Emmel added 12 points.

Cavalier (19-8) was led by Ryan Chrest's 23 points and Spencer Robbins' 14 points and 14 rebounds.
