Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- March Madness officially starts this weekend for the Bison men's basketball team as they try to end a three year victory drought in Sioux Falls at the Summit League Tournament.

NDSU enters the postseason with some momentum, that's thanks to Taylor

Braun's return to the lineup, Braun scored 21 points last Saturday in the regular season finale at Omaha.

The Bison are the 3 seed for the conference tourney, squaring off with Kansas City, a team they swept during the regular season and they're ready to stay longer than one day.

Taylor Braun says, " Everyone is expecting to go down there and not leave the next day, which has happened the last couple of years. Everyone is expecting to be down there for awhile."

Marshall Bjorklund says, "We've went through quite a bit this year. Now we're back at full strength. We have everyone playing really well."

Coach Saul Phillips says, "As a coach, the fact that I feel good about it makes me nervous. So, there you go. You're conflicted. You're always looking for ways that you can get tripped up. But, the bottom line is that I'd rather go in feeling good about us than not good about us. We've had years going in there where we clearly weren't playing good basketball at that time of the year. You know what, this year we are."
