Two men arrested in connection with Moorhead shooting

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - The Moorhead Police Department has made two arrests in connection with the shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon.

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - The Moorhead Police Department has made two arrests in connection with the shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon.

Michael Andrew Crittenden, 23, of Moorhead and Tyshawn Lanier Darden, 19, of Moorhead are both in custody for their involvement in the shooting. Darden is currently in the Cass County Jail being held on 1st Degree Attempted Murder Charges. Crittenden is being held in the Clay County Jail on Felony Conspiracy to Commit 5th Degree Controlled Substance with the possibility of additional charges in the future.

At approximately 11 AM, the Red River SWAT Team executed a warrant at 2905 7th Avenue North in Fargo, and Darden was taken into custody without incident. Crittenden was apprehended a short time later in Moorhead after being interviewed about his involvement in the incident.

Police also seized 2.2 pounds of marijuana and almost $11,000 in cash from Sands' home at 1107 17th Street South, where the shooting took place.
