Snow brought Devils Lake to a standstill

Devils Lake, MN (WDAY TV) -- The snow is thick enough that it's virtually brought Devils Lake to a standstill.

Devils Lake, MN (WDAY TV) -- The snow is thick enough that it's virtually brought Devils Lake to a standstill.

The region has seen up to a foot of snow already, with another 3 to 6 inches possible tonight. Devils Lake Public Schools and Lake Region State College were closed. Several local stores took the day off, and those that were open reported slow business.

But the storm hasn't been very hazardous for those who did risk traveling. The Ramsey County Sheriff's office only got two calls this morning for motorists stuck in the snow.
