(WDAY TV) -- Most of the Valley woke up to nasty conditions, making for a tough morning commute.
But others had it worse. In areas like Lisbon, freezing rain fell before the snow hit. ND-DOT has been working to clear the roads since the storm moved in.
Kevin Gorder with the ND-DOT says, "We are dealing with freezing rain to start and snow on top so they're really icy. In the rest of the district it's just snow that we're dealing with. Ya know, we'll try to do our best. And when it stops, we'll get out there and clean it up as best we can."
Gorder says it is easier to deal with the snow in March because of our warmer temps.
