Medina man accused in house break-in pleads not guilty
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man accused of breaking into a home and stealing a cell phone that was used to track him down has pleaded not guilty.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man accused of breaking into a home and stealing a cell phone that was used to track him down has pleaded not guilty.
Twenty-two-year-old Pedro Morales Jr., of Medina, is charged with burglary. Authorities say he broke into a Bismarck home in the early morning hours of Jan. 28.
Morales allegedly stole numerous items from the home, including several cell phones. Police say GPS tracking on one of the phones led an officer to the suspect in the backyard of another home.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that the next court hearing is scheduled April 8.
