Barnesville, MN (WDAY TV) - Last year was nice for the Barnesville wrestling team, but this year; they're ready to do some damage. Last season the Trojans made their first trip in school history to the state tournament, but have re-loaded this season and dominated their competition to the tune of a 23-1 record.

Issac Goedtke – Barnesville Senior, 133 lbs: “It says we can actually do something. We can win matches. So, hopefully we’ll win a couple, and can hopefully win the first one this year.”

Kyle Johnson – Barnesville Senior, 220 lbs: “It's definitely nervewracking getting done there at the XCel Center with so many people watching you. I just have to kind of remember that and keep my nerves in focus, and wrestle hard.”

Art Meyer – Barnesville Head Coach: “They know expectations have been raised by what we did last year - we wouldn't have been back there, so we need to work harder. It’s the first time had target on our back. Our kids really handled the pressure and knew that we needed to worker harder to make it back there.”
