FARGO – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Fargo retirement home employee charged with stealing prescription pain pills from a resident there.
Kristi Jean Larson, 43, was charged last week with Class C felony theft in Cass County District Court.
Court documents allege the victim – a resident at Touchmark at Harwood Groves, 1200 Harwood Drive – noticed five Oxycodone pills missing from on two occasions, Dec. 14 and Dec. 19.
After the first discovery, the retirement facility installed security cameras in the victim’s room, which allegedly caught Larson stealing the pills while the victim was out of the room, police allege in court records.
According to the complaint, Larson admitted she took one set of pills and returned them to a Fargo police officer, but she denied taking them on the earlier occasion.
