BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Lobbyists in North Dakota could have hundreds of new clients.
North Dakota's Senate on Wednesday approved a measure that allows cities and counties to spend taxpayer money on lobbyists.
The Senate voted 27-20 to approve the measure. The approval was against the grain of a Government and Veterans Affairs Committee recommendation to kill the bill.
