Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Competitors got a break with today's weather for a grueling, cold, somewhat fun event.

About 100 people took part in the 4th annual BeMobile's Extreme North Dakota Iceman Triathlon. To finish, you ski, bike and run before jumping on a sled to cross the line.

Race organizers say the event gives people a chance to get out and enjoy nature, no matter what the weather is like.

Organizer, Joe Larson, says, "I'm having a good time. We're staying warm, better than the last couple of years where we've had negative 20's. So this 15 or so above zero is pretty amazing."

Money raised goes to "Ground UP Adventures." It's a local group that gets youngsters involved in extreme sports.
