West Acres rewarding “green” designs

    In honor of Earth Month, West Acres is challenging to create any fashion item using recycled or re-purposed materials.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Get ready to get creative. West Acres is taking entries for its Design Green, Win Green contest.

In honor of Earth Month, it's challenging to create any fashion item using recycled or re-purposed materials.

This is video from the first event. Since then, the number of participants has more than doubled.

Carol Schlossman, West Acres Mall: "What really drove this is the passion for great design, creativity in our community, and bringing that to wonderful exposure at West Acres."

Winners get gift certificates to the mall. To enter, email your sketch and a short description to marketing at WestAcres.com by March 13th.
