Courts Plus updates to stand out in the metro

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Courts Plus Community Fitness says it's trying to get an edge on the competition.

At a Grand Re-opening today, it unveiled a $4 million, 8,000 square foot expansion.

The updated facility features a 36-foot high play area, a new track, a smoothie bar, and community education rooms.

The health club says more and more gyms keep popping up in the metro, and it needs to stand out.

Kevin Boe, Plus Community Fitness: "The competition in town has come up significantly, so it was needed, plus the community, with the children and the indoor playground, is a large component to that."

Before this, Courts Plus hadn't had an expansion in more than 15 years.
