West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - We're two days away from the start of the North Dakota High School Hockey Tournament, and the West Fargo girls are the clear favorites to win it all after finishing a perfect 20-0 against the state in the regular season.

A big reason for the Packer success this season has been their top line of Ali Springer, Kelly Krahn, and Hayley Walsh. Walsh is the state's scoring leader, with her two linemates sitting 2nd and 3rd. Together the trio has combined for 105 goals, a number that would rank 4th as a team in the state.

Hayley Walsh – 85 points, State Leader: “At the beginning of the season he just threw us together just to see what it be like and we kind of just clicked right away. Ever since then we’ve just improved together. We’ve got a lot of points, it’s been fun.”

Allison Springer – 24 Goals, 34 Assists this season: “Hayley and Kelly are very good at picking spots in the net, and getting those goals.”

Kellly Krahn – 41 Goals, 21 Assists this season: “I’ve known them for a quite a long time, and me and Ally have been playing together since 12U, so we know how to work the puck together. Just this season I’ve been playing with Hayley, and we just know where to put the puck and it goes in the net.”

The Packers open with Williston on Thursday.
