Glyndon (WDAY-TV) The driver of an SUV, somehow escaped injury after he lost control on Highway 10 west of Glyndon.

Some eyewitnesses say the vehicle rolled a number of times. The man did use his seat belt, and was not injured. Sgt. Jesse Grabow says the man was driving too fast for the conditions, and he had been drinking. But, was not legally intoxicated.

Blowing snow is causing drifts to form on some highways, and some roads are still icy in spots.

Sergeant Jesse Grabow—Minnesota State Patrol: “People are driving way too fast for conditions. When you're driving along, look at your speed, ask what are you doing right now? Do you have enough time to react? You might want to drop it down another 5 to 10 miles per hour, to give you a little more room for error, to watch out for other hazards, other vehicles that may present an issue out there.”

The driver was cited for failure to use due care.
