Arctic Horseshoe tournament brings a taste of summer to Wild Rice

Wild Rice, ND (WDAY TV) -- There's a competition in Wild Rice, where people bring a summer pastime to the cold of winter.

32 people competed in the Wild Rice Horseshoe league's sixth annual Arctic Tournament today. They paired up in teams of two, and the top four teams took home cash prizes.

Organizers say they started the event as something fun to break up the long winter months.
