West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- History buffs, here's your chance to enter into the fur-trading era.

The North Dakota Muzzle Loaders are hosting their annual historical craft and trade fair at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds this weekend. The event features items and historical re-enactors from pre-Dakota Territory times.

Club members say it is a hands-on way to for people to immerse themselves in local history.

Coordinator, Darrell Kersting, says, "People find interesting the muzzle loader firearms, the old firearms. As well as even some of the camp items, things that people would have used in their day-to-day life: cooking utensils, the old-fashioned kettles."

The show continues tomorrow from nine to four.
