Moorhead Center Mall sees a big change to its main entrance

The city council approved getting rid of the large rock fountain that greeted folks for years at the mall. Council members want to turn the area into "useful space."
They say it can now host large meetings, concerts, plays etc.
Mark Hintermeyer, council member, says, "it's a gorgeous place and there have been gatherings here and meetings here this just enlarges it and it's a good thing and I think we're really close to getting it set up here."
Once the spot drys, it'll be carpeted to fit the rest of that area.
