Tomas Dieguez pleaded guilty in November to conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Authorities say Dieguez and Arnaldo Guerrero sold meth in the Fargo area in July.

Guerrero has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for trial in March.

Prosecutors asked that Dieguez be sentenced to 12 years in prison. Defense attorney Jesse Lange argued for a term of not more than nine years.
