Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - After a few relatively snow-less winters, the hills of snow are back. Fargo city trucks are hauling load after load of snow to four different locations, following the weekend blizzard.
The downtown area was cleared out first. Crews have already hauled two days of snow to the dumping sites since around the city since Monday.
Ben Dow – City of Fargo Public Works: “Started hauling the downtown last night and we hauled 250 loads into our downtown storage facility on one night.”
Dow says city crews will begin cutting down those tall snow piles at the corners of many intersections soon. He says we'll also see a difference simply from the snow settling.
