Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- With a major storm, comes major cleanup.

Road crews have been working around the clock to clear the path for all of us to get back to work, school and stores and restaurants.

It might not be as much as you expected,

Aaron Stenerson: "A lot."

but it's made a big mess for area workers.

Aaron Stenerson/Remodeling By Foss:"A little more work today, than normal."

Aaron Stenerson is in his 18th hour...

Aaron Stenerson: "not too bad so far. No major break downs so that makes it easier."

and he has another 8 to go.

Aaron Stenerson: "I've been in a loader, I've been in a plow pick up, I've been in a bob cats."

During a storm like this, it's typical to tack on a hundred or so miles, hauling hundreds of loads of snow. He says, it's a good change of pace.

Aaron Stenerson: "Somewhat used to it. We've been spoiled the last few years on being able to be pretty lazy at it. But, kind of back to reality. But, we'll take it."

These long, goofy hours, as they call this plowing marathon, doesn't bother Matt.

Matt: Halseth/Remodeling by Foss: "I like it, I don't sleep so ya, it works for me."

Then again,

Matt Halseth: "What time is it, I forgot?"

He's lost track of just how long he's been at it. But promises, their crews will have their designated areas cleared by sunrise.

"Trying to catch up with what Mother Nature has dumped on us, ya know."
