Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Crews are back to work at Caterpillar, after part of the roof collapsed.

It happened just after midnight at the West Fargo facility on Main Avenue.

Caterpillar is investigating the cause of the collapse, and the extent of the damage.

Firefighters did say they had to go inside to shut the water off, and deal with water damage from a broken sprinkler line.

Chief Roy Schatschneider with the West Fargo Fire Dept., says, "The building was creaking and groaning and everything, so we didn't want to spend any more time in there than what we had to, because we didn't know if it would collapse completely."

Caterpillar tells us no workers were injured.
