Perham-Dent School facing $1.2 million deficit

Perham, MN (WDAY TV) - The Perham-Dent School Board is facing a $1.2 million deficit.
This year, the district has lower-than-expected enrollment. It lost 35 students. Also, technology costs are soaring.
An extra $142,000 was tacked onto the budget for technology updates, like getting iPads in the classroom. The district spent $55,000 on iPad cases alone.
