Fargo-Moorhead (WDAY TV) - North winds that kicked up overnight helped make roads slippery for the morning commute. Law enforcement responded to half a dozen crashes in the metro.

In one a driver was thrown from his vehicle after it rolled on I-29, just south of 52nd avenue.

The patrol says 50 year-old Kurt Gebeke from Horace was taken to Essentia Health. His condition isn't known. The patrol says drivers should be aware of icy patches and adjust their driving for the conditions.
