Fargodome looks at plans for a big expansion

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Plans are being looked at for the biggest expansion ever to the Fargodome.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Plans are being looked at for the biggest expansion ever to the Fargodome.

This is an artist's rendering of the addition. The 50,000 square foot, 2-level events center would be on southeast corner of the dome.

The project would include a club room on the 3rd floor and a sky lounge on the fourth floor that would overlook the arena floor.

The Fargodome Authority Board is looking at dedicating 17 million dollars to the project, but it would likely cost more than that, so other funding would be needed.
