Lecture on Buddhist environmental thought
MOORHEAD – Dr. Stephanie Kaza will speak at the Concordia College Religion Department’s 2013 Religion 100 Enrichment Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Centrum of Knutson Campus Center.
MOORHEAD – Dr. Stephanie Kaza will speak at the Concordia College Religion Department’s 2013 Religion 100 Enrichment Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Centrum of Knutson Campus Center.
Kaza’s lecture, “Responding to Environmental Suffering: Insights from Zen Buddhism,” is free and open to the public.
Kaza is a professor of environmental studies at the University of Vermont, an author, a practicing Soto Zen Buddhist and an active proponent of religious dialogue.
