Moorhead 95 Brainerd 93; Lien breaks a 46-year-old school record

(WDAY TV) -- We've already seen some terrific individual performances on the hardwood this season; AJ Jacobson and Patrick Strom each going over 40 points for Shanley. Tonight we saw history at Moorhead High.

Turned in by the Spuds Aaron Lien, breaking a 46 year old school record.

Moorhead was facing undefeated Brainerd, who came in at 14-0, but

that didn't bother Lien tonight, who was hitting from everywhere on the court, a couple of jump shots, then a drive.

Lien connected on 14 two-pointers, three three-pointers, he made 16 foul shots, that adds up to a school record 53 points!!!

Moorhead which was down 18 points in the second half, rallies to come back and beats Brainerd 95-93, on a night that Lien will never forget.
