Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- It's also a big hockey weekend in Moorhead, where the Spuds have turned around their season over the past two weeks, which included a shutout win in Roseau.

Moorhead has won 3 straight; after suffering a five game losing skid earlier in January now the fun part of the schedule begins as Grand Rapids comes to town tomorrow, a team that's also red hot.

Aaron Herd, Jr. forward, says, "We know they are going to be physical and they know we are going to be physical too. We just got to grind the game out, really be tight in the D zone, take care of the neutral zone and just put pucks on net, get to the net and grind the game and hopefully it will take care of itself."

Thomas Carey, Sr. forward, says, "We feel great about where we are at right now, we are on the rise going in late in the year. I think the speed bump as bad as it was it really helped us in the end with our tough schedule especially."

Spuds have 4 games left in the regular season, including the season finale against Hill-Murray.
