West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A West Fargo landlord who was convicted of running over a former tenant with a Hummer and lost his appeal to the state Supreme Court is headed to prison.
75-year-old Al Vetter received a two-year sentence for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
He asked that he not be taken into custody until Feb. 14 so he could finish some personal business but the judge refused.
Prosecutors sought to revoke Vetter's bail after he told a reporter he wasn't going to jail.
His attorney said Vetter's comment was misunderstood and that he wasn't going to leave the area.
