Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - All of the Salvation Army's bell ringing paid off in a big way.
This morning, the Red Kettle Campaign announced record breaking numbers for this year. More than $911,000 was raised. The Salvation Army knows it couldn't do it alone.
Margie Bailly, Red Kettle Chairperson: "It took 4,312 volunteers to accomplish this. It took 10,780; 10,780 volunteer hours, that's extraordinary.”
This new record beat last year's fundraiser by almost $75,000.
