Suspects identified in Tuesday metro robbery spree

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Moorhead Police have identified the suspects involved in the theft spree that took place in the metro area Tuesday.
Twenty-five year-old Abdi Abdullahi of Minneapolis has been identified as the suspect that entered the businesses and stole money. Abdullahi is being held in the Clay County Jail pending extradition to Cass County for Felony Theft charges. He is also facing four counts of Misdemeanor Theft and one Misdemeanor open container in a motor vehicle charge.
The driver of the vehicle, 84 year-old Einar Melford Swanson, has been interviewed by investigators and has been released from custody pending review of the Clay County Attorney's Office for consideration of charges.
The investigation is on-going.
