Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - We're nearing February, which means the games will mean even more over the next month and tonight's game means everything in Grand Forks. First place Shanley comes calling to take on 2nd place Red River, each of them unbeaten in conference play.

This is a rematch of last year's state championship game that saw the Riders knock off the Deacons. That game has stuck with Shanley for the last 11 months and they've been motivated from the loss and are ready to dish out some payback tonight.

AJ Jacobson – Shanley Senior Forward: ”Second place, it kind of hurts, just getting there and being so close, being there the whole game, and then coming up short, it's a driving thing we've been working hard.”

Shane Alderman – Shanley Head Coach: “After the loss in championship game, the guys, AJ as ringleader, grabbing by the neck put the bug in their ear get back there again and hopefully finish it off differently but a lot of basketball to be played between now and then too.”
