Two former NDSU softball players are charged in connection to an initiation party

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Update to a story we first brought you last month, two people who at the time were members of the Bison softball team were charged today in connection into a initiation party back in December.

Bison sophomore outfielder Alex Sobrero was charged with delivery of alcohol

to a minor, a class A misdemeanor.

Cassidy Szeredy, who was part of the 2011 recuriting class; is charged with harassment and disorderly conduct; Jenina Ortega was referred to the state's attorney for simple assault but no charges were filed.

Head coach Darren Mueller suspended certain members of the team back in December for 3 to 10 games.
