Mahnomen, MN (WDAY TV) -- One of the highlights of the weekend for many folks was a Chris Young concert at the Shooting Star Casino. But it wasn't just his number one hits that brought fans out.
Chris Young fans came to see him at the Shooting Star Casino for many reasons...
Teresa: "I love his music and everything about his music and how it represents country."
Don: "I just enjoy music."
Cody: "It's the weekend so I figured I would come out and party and have a good time here."
But these fans from Jamestown didn't just come for a party...they came for a good cause.
Stacey: "We have a fundraiser going on for Prairie Paws rescue and he signed a wine label, which is awesome because we're going to be auctioning off these bottles of wine that we're having celebrities sign.
Kaye: He signed a little black dress for us that we're going to take and use for the charity auction with a picture of him and hope it raises a lot of funds."
A few other fans, mostly women, also met the man with 5 number one hits. One fan describes the feeling as...
Teresa: "Scary, really really scary."
Teresa: "He's always handsomer in person."
Stacey: "Yummy, Sorry hunny I love you, but yummy."
Just as the reasons for coming vary, so does the fans' pick for their favorite Chris Young song.
Jordan: "I can take it from there..my favorite one."
Stacey: "Well Little Black Dress I would have to say, because he signed one of those for us too."
Cody: "My favorite song is Save Water Drink Beer."
The autographed memorabilia will be auctioned off in March at a Prairie Paws fundraiser.
