Big second half lifts South Dakota State over NDSU

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- South Dakota State used a devastating second half, both offensively and defensively, to defeat North Dakota State 69-53 Saturday afternoon in Summit League men's basketball.

A 15-0 run early in the second half erased a 37-31 NDSU halftime lead. At one point, the Bison went 12 straight possessions without scoring, a direct contrast to the first 20 minutes when they shot 57 percent.
