The RV and Boat show in Fargo is giving a little taste of summer

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Valley is getting a little taste of summer. Today, both the RV and Boat show kicked off in Fargo.

Lisa Jungck: "I think I found one, not a hundred percent."

Even in the dead of winter...

Jungck/camper shopper: "it's way too cold and it needs to go away. I want summer here cause I want to go camping. "

...Lisa is looking on the bright side

Lisa Jungck: "We waited this long, we can wait a little longer."

She's shopping for the ultimate outdoor gear.

Lisa Jungck: "campers, laughing."

Others,

Donna: Hagen: "oh yeah, I feel warmer already."

Are searching for a little more?

Donna Hagen/RV Shopper: "We have hope because it's warm out and, summer coming, right Tracy? Mmmhm."

All the way across town, this crowd is on the same mission.

Mike Leier/Boat show goer: "Well, when the boat show shows up that means spring is coming."

Here, at the Fargodome, it's filled with hundreds of different boats, a hundred different reasons to think of something other than winter.

But not everyone is ready to say goodbye to this bitter cold weather.

Mike Leier: "Hasn't been bad. Great for ice fishing right now."

Dave on the other hand,

Dave Tweten/Vendor: "The weather sucks to put it mildly."

He has his mind set on summer.

Dave Tweten: "I think people are getting tired of the hard water, drilling holes through the ice."

Dozens of people pacing the aisles looking for more than just a new boat.

But signs of a new season.

Dave Tweten: "Every nice day just brought us that closer to may first, that's what I keep telling people."

If you're looking to escape the mid-winter cold. The camper display is set through Sunday at the Civic Center. You can catch the boat show at the Fargo dome, which runs through Tuesday.
