Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A day after the 40th Anniversary that legalized abortion across the country, protestors took to Fargo streets to make their voices heard.

Several people gathered outside the Red River Women's Clinic downtown.

They braved the cold to stand up against the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, still wanting to make abortion illegal.

Protestors held signs and tried to talk with women walking into the clinic, hoping to change their minds about going through with their decision.

Joanne Sandy, Fargo: “I am just trying to help the young women going in and just praying that they choose not to abort their baby and praying for the workers and also the doctors.”

Some protest each Wednesday, the only day the clinic offers abortions.
