Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A man accused of robbing a Fargo bank and leading police on a chase into Moorhead blames mental illness for his crimes.
In a phone interview from the Clay County jail, Abraham Wilson Jr. says he has a disorder that causes delusional thinking and impulsive behavior. He says he won't fight the charges.
Wilson allegedly robbed Cornerstone Bank January 8th, and police think he also robbed a north Fargo Stop N Go two days earlier.
Wilson pleaded guilty to a bank robbery ten years ago. Court documents show his probation officer said he has a history of armed robbery when off his medication and smoking marijuana.
