FARGO – A Ponsford, Minn., woman is accused of kicking a female security guard in the face Monday in the emergency room at Sanford Medical Center.
Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel said the woman was taken to the hospital for intoxication-related issues and was combative with hospital staff. The security guard was kicked in the face as she tried to control the woman, he said.
Billi Jo Larson, 53, was arrested on suspicion of assault on medical personnel, a Class C felony.
The guard’s bottom lip was injured, Vettel said.
